Supporting Students: TCU Receives T3 Knowledge Builder Award

Posted on

TCU was recently recognized with a T3 Knowledge Builder Award at the Vision T3 event in Fort Worth, Texas. It was a moment that highlighted the growing partnership between the university and the Tarrant To & Through Partnership (T3). The award reflects the work happening behind the scenes to support local students from Tarrant County as they make the transition to college and stay on track toward graduation.

Through the T3 partnership, TCU provides the scholarship funding students need once they enroll, along with the kind of support that helps them thrive. Students gain access to tutoring, advising, workshops, and opportunities to get involved on campus. The goal is to give them what they need to find their footing, build community, and stay in school.

T3 has become an important model for how a city can strengthen its talent pipeline, and TCU plays a key role in that effort. The Knowledge Builder Award recognizes institutions that use collaboration and data to improve outcomes, and for TCU, it’s a sign that the work is making a difference. It shows how meaningful it can be when a university invests in local students not just at the point of admission, but throughout their entire college journey.
