Department or Office Announcements:

Submit announcements to be shared at Student Affairs Forums! Announcements should be submitted the Thursday before an upcoming forum to be included.

2025 – 2026 Academic Year

As Student Affairs professionals we each play a vital role in the student experience. Everyone has a seat at our table – a place to share ideas, voice concerns, or just be. These forums are designed around a pillar of belonging to help create a divisional sense of belonging. Have an idea or want to talk to someone about the Student Affairs Forum? Email us at SAforum@tcu.edu.

Join us to connect with your colleagues, learn more about Student Affairs events, and grow in your development. A light breakfast is provided, and forums are from 8:30-10:00 am. The location can vary and will be sent in each meeting request.

Make sure to RSVP for each forum by selecting “accept or decline” and “send response” on each meeting request. This allows us to plan accordingly for food and seating.

An app on your phone that would surprise people?
Candy Crush!  I’m on level 2400.

Single best piece of professional advice you ever received was?
Ground yourself in community wherever you are planted.

Something you are happy you did but would never do again?
Working full time, planning a wedding, and being in grad school all at the same time.

Antonio Reed
Career Consultant, College of Science & Engineering

An app on your phone that would surprise people?
Slice – it’s an app that allows you to order pizza from eateries that aren’t a main chain!  Some of the best pizza I have had came from small mom and pop’s restaurants

Single best piece of professional advice you ever received was?
“Be stubborn with your dreams, but be flexible on how you get there.”  Mr. Washington

Something you are happy you did but would never do again?
Jump in a pool in the middle of winter!

Noah Sheridan
Coordinator, New Student & Family Programs

An app on your phone that would surprise people?
The NASCAR app!  I am a huge fam and love to travel across the country to attend races.  The NASCAR app lets me tune into the drivers’ radios and see lots of data throughout the race.

Single best piece of professional advice you ever received was?
Remember to pause and smell the roses.  Life moves quickly, and it’s easy to get caught in an endless cycle of chasing the next project or checking off the next task.  Take a moment to step back, breathe deeply, and notice the beauty unfolding around you.

Something you are happy you did but would never do again?
Eat seafood!  I have had sockeye salmon in Seattle, clam chowder in Boston, crab cakes in Baltimore and Low Country (Crawfish/Shrimp) boils in New Orleans and Savannah.  I have tried the foods in the places to try them and did not enjoy them!
