Overdose Prevention

Opioid Overdose Emergency Kits have been installed in most TCU buildings. They are mounted on walls next to the AED, automated external defibrillator, in high-traffic areas. Each opioid overdose emergency kit contains nasal Naloxone medication, brand name Narcan. This is a collaborative effort between the Student Government AssociationSubstance Use & Recovery ServicesWellness Promotion, and Student Affairs.

Opioid Overdose Emergency Kits are located in most buildings on campus near the automated external defibrillators. To view locations visit maps.tcu.edu, under “Health, Wellness and Safety” select the box “Overdose Emergency Kits.”
