Campus culture drives individuals’ feelings, perceptions, and actions in the TCU community. Student Affairs creates experiences that ensure students feel welcomed, valued, and respected on campus, creating a positive campus culture. Cultural Connectors Programs
Cultural Connectors are undergraduate students who are selected on the basis of their ability to communicate across cultures, willingness to learn and teach others about areas of difference, ability to encourage dialogue within residence halls, and ability to program towards a more inclusive TCU. Dialogue Dinners
A monthly dinner that brings residents together to discuss various topics. Topics include Cultural Identity, Model Minority Myth, Coming Together, Cultural Appropriation, Black History Month, and Intersectionality.

Frog Camp
Frog Camp introduces incoming students to the TCU community. Students walk away from Frog Camp with new friends, faculty/staff resources and upper-division mentors. Participants also get an inside look at what it means to be a Horned Frog, learn TCU traditions, how to create an inclusive culture, and how to make a difference at TCU.
First Year Experience
Human Library
The bi-annual Human Library event is where multiple students, faculty, and staff members volunteer their time and their stories in an effort to show the different lived experiences that exist here on TCU’s campus. The purpose of this event is to promote tolerance, challenge assumptions, and celebrate diversity within our community by encouraging people from different backgrounds to talk with and learn from each other in a safe environment.

Showcase event for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the governing body of the nine historically African American fraternities and sororities, that exposes students to the Divine Nine organizations and servers as an opportunity for students to learn more about these organizations.

Tunnel of Expression
Tunnel of Expression is a bi-annual 50-minute interactive event that highlights contemporary issues of oppression. It is designed to introduce participants to concepts of oppression, privilege, and power. Participants are guided through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge them to think more deeply about issues of oppression. At the end of the tour, participants are provided with the opportunity to discuss their experiences with facilitators and with each other, create an individualized action plan for change, and more.
